🍁 Harvest Festival 2025 🍂

We held our Harvest Festival in St. Mary's Church in Ennerdale. The theme for this year was generosity

The Juniors led us in our worship and we thought about how different fruits and vegetables can represent generosity. We thought about, for example, how the smallest of grains used to make a loaf of bread, come together to make enough to feed many people. We thought about how tiny seeds in fruits are used to grow new fuits and how generosity can grow into something bigger to bless others. If you would like to read about more of the fruits and vegetables, the script that we used is below. You can also view a copy of the hymns that we sang.

Earlier in the week, Nursery and the Infants had painted the different fruits and vegetables and as the Juniors told us about the links to generosity, Nursery and the Infants created a piece of Christian art (their RE focus this half-term) called 'A Generous Harvest'.

The Food Bank

As we do each year, we put out a Harvest appeal to our families and the community for donations to the local Food Bank. This year we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our school family.
